Welcome and thank you for taking the time to learn more about my practice and me!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who specializes in treating Anxiety Disorders, OCD, Trauma, and Addiction. I have worked in the mental health field for over 15 years, including 9 years working as an administrator and trainer in inpatient dual disorder and substance use disorder specialty hospitals in both PA and Ohio.

I am also a Licensed Independent Chemical Dependency Counselor with the Clinical Supervisor Certification.

I have specialized postgraduate training in Exposure Response Prevention Therapy (ERP/EXRP), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), EMDR, and PE for PTSD, and am a certified meditation teacher.

I have had the unique privilege to oversee and facilitate specialized programming for Medical Professionals struggling with substance use and dual disorders.

In addition to providing therapy services, I offer clinical trainings and supervision. I have a passion for clinical teaching and therapist development and have presented at numerous conferences and other training events on group therapy and practice, addiction, grief, anxiety, and family recovery in PA and Ohio.

My mission is to empower and educate people while providing evidence-based treatment so you can be free to be your true self!

My approach is individualized based on your needs and preferences however I typically incorporate mindfulness, stress management, and visualization techniques into my practice.  I have a passion for fitness and enjoy offering people the opportunity to learn more about how physical health and nature allow us to become out best selves!

While I am results oriented and passionate about clinical excellence, I am more than training and a CV! I can briefly summarize myself as a compassionate Tigger! Yes! A Winnie-the Pooh reference! I love my amazing, goofy, wonderful family and am truly humbled each day by the opportunity to be a mom to the most amazing little girl! My passion, energy, and flexibility are all traits I proudly bring to my role as a therapist.

Thank you for taking the time to learn more about me! I am a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor Level III specializing in helping people struggling with substance use issues. I am passionate about empowering people to achieve their goals and recognize that during our greatest struggles there is opportunity to find our true selves and grow.  Over the last 8 years I have had the opportunity to work in both inpatient and outpatient settings offering mental health and substance use counseling to children and adults.

As a counselor I provide genuine, compassionate services in a judgment free manner. I will meet you wherever you are in your recovery journey and utilize multiple modalities including motivational interviewing, CBT, smart recovery, and 12 step programming based on individual needs and preferences. I have additional training in Medication Assisted Treatment, trauma informed approaches, Trust Based Relational Interventions (TBRI), and managing gambling addiction.

In addition to my counseling experience, I have extensive experience working in the legal system including providing youthful offender assessments for teens involved in the justice system.

My passion for advocacy and law motivated me to earn my J.D. from Cleveland State University and has allowed me to continue to help people in a variety of settings.  Currently I am the chairperson of the Mental Health and Wellness Committee for the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association.

Outside of my role a counselor and advocate I am passionate about nature,

Family, the outdoors, kayaking, and cycling are some of the ways I practice balance.  I find peace in nature and make efforts to incorporate my love for outdoors and nature into my practice.

Together we can help you work towards helping you create a life you do not want to escape from!
